"Don´t get beaten up!" was the advice 11 Freunde gave me before they sent me to Dresden. It was the decisive game between Dresden and Bielefeld. The loser would be relegated in third league. Some supporters of Dynamo are well known for radical behaviour and hooliganism. Their announcement of a field invasion in case their team would lose this game, sounded like serious trouble. I was prepared to enter a football war zone. But even when Dresden finally lost this match, the atmosphere was still kind of calm. Disappointment was heavier than anger. There was only a banner rolled out by some Ultras and the announcement toward their team was: You have one hour to leave our city.
